A bit about me
I'm Tolu, a software engineer based in Lagos who genuinely enjoys the craft. I've spent 4+ years building things in fintech and SaaS: payment systems, APIs, automation pipelines, AI integrations. The kind of work where getting it wrong costs real money, so you learn to get it right.
Outside of work, I'm usually tinkering on something. That might be Àṣàrò, a meditative reading app my friends and I use to quietly judge each other's reading progress, or building AI agents just to see what breaks first when a new Claude update drops.
I tend to think in systems, ship things that work, and ask uncomfortable questions about why something is built the way it is. That last habit has saved a few production databases.
